It’s already July?! When did that happen? This year has been going so fast and this summer has been going even faster! Since it’s summer and we have been talking about some heavy things over the last few months I think some fun and light-heartedness is what the doctor ordered! This week we are gonna be talking about some of my favorite things I’ve benn using during the month of July. Ive gathered a list of products that focus on spiritual life, beauty, and health and wellness. (This post is NOT sponsored, I genuinely love the things I’ll be sharing with y’all!)

First up, productivity and organization! Y’all, can i be honest for a sec? I struggle with complacency and productivity. If i don’t write things down and make a game plan, you can bet it will not get done. I NEED lists, y’all! I need something staring me in the face so there is absolutely no way I can’t get things done. Im working on it (Pray for me haha). So, that brings me to my first favorite product, The Brilliant Life Planner!

 The Brilliant Life Planner

The Brilliant Life Planner totally delivers on all counts! I am a lover of vibrant colors and beauty in my organizational tools is a priority. Why does a functional planner need to be boring? It doesn’t! The Brilliant Planner Begins each months with a section for notes and a monthly view. One of my favorite aspects of this planner is that it gives you the opportunity to review the previous week by recording your memories, gratitudes, progress towards your goals, struggles and stressors, and how you overcame them. On the next page you get to set up your up coming week by recording your top tasks for work and personal life. Also you can plan for appointments, people to contact, meetings, and people to encourage. The planner also includes and hour by hour breakdown of your week and project planners in the back.

Limelight by Alcone

Next up, a beauty and skincare line that I have fallen in love with, Limelight by Alcone. I had seen someone I know using these product for a few months and I noticed her skin transforming and glowing. I was interested in these products all because of the changes I had seen in by her using the skin care and makeup. When i found out my beautiful friend who is a freelance makeup artist started selling these products i wanted to support her and I just had to try these products!

My purchases:

It hydrates, balances the skin and addresses issues that come with aging, sun damage, and troubled skin. Gideon Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer

First of all, if you haven’t done a Priscilla Shirer Bible study you absolutely need to, this is my first and it won’t be my last. The Bible study of Gideon is all about recognizing our weaknesses so that we can in turn experience God’s strength in our lives.

“When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or a fleece spread beneath the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that. This is a story about God and His people—His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of, even through, their weakness.

This 7-session study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, learn to see them as the gifts given specifically and strategically by God. If you’ve ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.” (Source Lifeway)

Priscilla has a unique way of communicating the bible in a fun, funny, bold, and instructive way that draws you into the text and fills you with excitement for what you are studying.

The study includes 7 sessions of discussion questions and viewer guide questions. You will need to purchase the video supplements separately but they are so worth it to really get the most out of this study. Go here to purchase this study!

FasciaBlaster by Ashley Black

So I am a massage therapist and I also workout frequently during my week. You can imagine how tight my body and muscles are after working and working out on a regular basis. Even as a massage therapist I don’t always have the opportunity to get massages myself (in-fact we are notoriously bad about following our own advice). I was telling a co-working one day that i felt tight from the inside out, not just muscularly but every part of my internally felt tight and i couldn’t get long term relief. Later that night i came across a Facebook video about a tool called the fascia blaster. As a massage therapist, im familiar with what fascia is and it got me interested, once i watched the video i knew this was exactly the product i needed to help me from pain relief.

First, let me explain what out fascia is and then i will talk about the fascia blaster. Fascia is the connective tissue that runs through literally every part of our body. Have you even cut a piece of chicken or red meat and seen the tissue like film? Thats fascia and it is everywhere. The problem is that as time goes on our fascia, connective tissue, can become tight and distorted. Fascia affects everything from our nerves, blood, skin, cellulite, and pain level. So when it become distorted and unhealthy we could have a whole range of issues. In-fact you might be dealing with the symptoms of distorted fascia right now and not even realize it. Here is a more comprehensive explanation of what I am talking about.

Ashley Black is a fascia expert and has created a tool to that breaks through the adhesions in your fascia and create better blood flow, increase nerve activity, lesson pain, change fascia composition, loosens the primary system that causes pain, allows for skeletal alignment, reduces inflammation, the list goes on!

I bought my fascia blaster and face blaster for pain but they have discovered that this tool gets rid of cellulite! Yeah, you read that right. Now hang with me for a sec. When Ashley Black created this tool some of her big time athlete clients were using it for performance recover and what not. One of the athletes girlfriends started to use it and texted her one day saying, “hey, i think this thing got rid of my cellulite”. As they dove into research and testing the product for that specific outcome, to get rid of cellulite, they discovered it really does! So they had to totally question the idea of what cellulite really is and what causes it.

After researching they discovered, cellulite isn’t fat. Cellulite is actually fascia that is constricted and is laying over fat and muscular structures like chicken wire. If you were to lay chicken wire over your bare leg your skin would poke through the holes as you applied pressure and its the same with out fascia in our body.

I have been using this product for about a month and i have found pain relief, i have shaped parts of my body from tight and bulging to smooth and healthy fascia underneath.  I use the larger blaster all over and the smaller blaster which is called the face blaster (yes it was designed to get rid of lines and writes on your face) for all over as well and to get into smaller places like my hand, feet, ankles, pecks. I suggest getting both. When you first start, if you are behind bound like me you will need the smaller blaster to help break up the first few layers of fascia and then go in with the big blaster to really smooth out the adhesions that are deeper.

I still have a long way to go but i am so excited about the result i know i will get. Here is to finding pain relief and creaking a knock out body without getting any work done!

Battles by Rita Springer

Last but not least i have recently been listening to Rita Springers new album, Battles. Battles is an amazingly powerful worship album that proclaims through the highs and lows of life that God has never lost a battle. Lately I’ve just played this album and let those truths wash over me when I find myself not trusting God in the process of hard situations.

Here are some of the words from one of my favorite songs on the record, “Every Battle”.

“No greater rescue than when You came through with strong love, strong love
All my accusers, silenced and scattered by You
Your people arising, we realize it is finished, it’s finished
Stand in the promise it is accomplished in You

You are high, high and lifted up
Strong and mighty enough, You are King
And I hide, covered by Your wings
And it’s there You fight for me
And every battle, every battle is Yours

No gods or idols, no princes or powered will have my worship
No threat of darkness, no fear of failing will steal my purpose
You’re my surrender, protector, defender
And every battle, every battle is Yours”

I encourage you to check this album out and get your worship on! It has really touched me and encouraged me through some difficult times in this season.
